In a breakthrough for North Delhi police, two men were arrested for a string of mobile snatching incidents after it was revealed they had rented a motorcycle used in the crimes for Rs 5,000 a night. This shocking rental scheme was uncovered during the investigation.

The accused, Zafar and Afzal, were caught by a team from the Civil Lines police station. The motorcycle, registered in Uttar Pradesh and belonging to a resident of Shamli, had been used in the crimes. The vehicle was originally given to an employee by the owner's son, under the guise of work-related use.

The investigation also led to the arrest of Aftab Mansoori, who purchased one of the stolen mobile phones in Karol Bagh. Police continue to investigate, with several arrests already made as they piece together the criminal network's operation.
