In a significant drug bust, authorities in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand arrested three individuals after seizing 42 kg of ganja from a New Delhi-bound train.
The illicit substance, estimated to be worth Rs 6 lakh, was discovered stashed in three trolley bags aboard a coach at the Dhanbad railway station.
The operation was carried out by a joint team of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), and the Crime Investigation Branch (CIB), who conducted the search as the train arrived at platform number 3 on Tuesday evening. Further investigations are currently underway.
