A shocking crime unfolded in Gorakhpur as a man was arrested for allegedly beheading his father following an intense property dispute, authorities revealed on Saturday.
The incident occurred late Friday night when Radheshyam Mishra, 33, attacked his father, Bhagwat Mishra, 60, with a spade while he slept, nearly decapitating him.
After the attack, Bhagwat was rushed to AIIMS, Gorakhpur but was declared dead upon arrival. Radheshyam, prompted by family tensions, was taken into custody, and police are conducting further investigations.
