Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav issued a stern warning on Tuesday, indicating that individuals involved in 'love jihad' and other crimes against women will face serious consequences.
Speaking at the 'Rakshabandhan Mahotsav,' Yadav emphasized that the state government will not tolerate any form of aggression towards women, whether it stems from 'love jihad' or drug-related crimes. Highlighting the government's unwavering commitment to safeguarding women's rights, Yadav indicated a comprehensive approach to tackle such issues.
Yadav also spotlighted efforts to empower women under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, mentioning monetary schemes like the monthly Ladli Behna Yojana. Additionally, Yadav announced major development projects, including a Rs 200 crore sewer line in the Huzur assembly of the state capital.
