Anirudh Kumar, previously jailed for his brother's alleged murder in a property dispute, finds himself embroiled in another heinous crime in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. The police arrested him following a disturbing chain of events that culminated in alleged murder.
A few months after securing bail, Anirudh lived with his brother's widow, Suman, creating a forced relationship. As a key witness, Suman faced pressure from Anirudh to alter her testimony but refused. The dispute tragically escalated, leading to an alleged murder involving Anirudh and an accomplice.
Police acted swiftly on a tip-off, apprehending Anirudh near Gayghat bridge. He confessed to enticing Suman and her daughters to Mihipurwa, subsequently leading them to the Sharda River, where they were pushed to their deaths. A search operation is ongoing for Anirudh's missing accomplice.
