AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has raised alarm over significant discrepancies in the electoral rolls of Uttar Pradesh. The MP claimed that in Mahoba district, a single house reportedly has 4,271 registered voters.
At a press briefing, Singh pointed out that such anomalies, including earlier reports of hundreds of voters registered at singular residences, indicate potential 'vote theft' in complicity with BJP and the Election Commission. Further scrutiny revealed 16,000 total voters in the village, heightening concerns.
Additionally, Singh accused the BJP-JD(U) government of favoring industrialist Gautam Adani with land at trivial costs in Bihar. The nominal price and guaranteed electricity purchase agreements underscore a troubling nexus, Singh argued, urging scrutiny as AAP plans to review these electoral irregularities further.
