In a significant development, police on Tuesday arrested Krushna Andekar, brother of the late NCP leader Vanraj Andekar, in connection with the murder investigation of Pune resident Ayush Komkar. The arrest marks the thirteenth in this escalating case, shedding light on a complex web of familial ties and vendetta.

The arrest follows the murder of Ayush Komkar, who was related to the Andekar family. Investigating officers disclosed that Krushna Andekar, the son of previously arrested Andekar gang leader Bandu Andekar, played a crucial role in the conspiracy behind Ayush's murder. Ayush's father, Ganesh Komkar, and aunt, Sanjeevani Komkar, remain key accused in the murder case of Vanraj Andekar.

After an extensive manhunt, Krushna Andekar was captured following a chase and subsequently produced before a court. The court remanded him to police custody until September 18, indicating further investigation into the intricate motive and involvement of the Andekar family in these violent incidents.
