An attack in Rajasthan's Barmer district has resulted in one fatality and critically injured another, reportedly involving an NSG commando. The assault happened late Wednesday night, according to police sources.
The principal suspect, identified as Champalal, is an NSG commando currently missing, while two suspects have been apprehended. NSG officials have been alerted to assist in locating Champalal. The assailants reportedly used swords and sharp weapons, intercepting their targets near Saranu village.
Khetaram succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while his friend Harlal was critically injured and is receiving treatment in Jodhpur. A third victim escaped unharmed. Authorities are focusing on uncovering the motive as investigations continue, amidst public demands for justice.
