Bribery Scandal: Police Inspector and Mobile Shop Owner Caught Red-Handed

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) made a high-profile arrest on Thursday, catching a police inspector and another individual in Phulera allegedly receiving a Rs 50,000 bribe.
Those apprehended include Phulera police station's Inspector Chandraprakash Yadav and mobile shop owner Happy Mathur, both implicated in the bribery incident.
According to ACB's Additional Director General Smita Srivastava, the complaint detailed Yadav's demand for a Rs 70,000 bribe via Mathur to not arrest the complainant's brother in a cybercrime case. Following a planned sting operation, Yadav and Mathur were caught in the act. Further investigations are ongoing.
