Delhi's Fire Safety Overhaul: Enhancing Urban Safety

As summer begins, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranji Singh Sandhu has mandated the Delhi Fire Service to heighten inspections and initiate fire audits.

During a visit to the Fire Service Management Academy in Rohini, Sandhu reviewed the operational readiness and training standards of the Delhi Fire Service.

Emphasizing fire safety in urban governance, particularly in schools and hospitals, Sandhu highlighted the necessity for active vigilance, fire audits, and public awareness. He directed officials to expedite inspections and NOC applications, enforcing strict actions against safety violations.
