Techno Digital's Strategic Mumbai Expansion Boosts AI-Ready Infrastructure

In a strategic move to address the increasing demands for low-latency and AI-ready infrastructure, Techno Digital, the digital infrastructure division of Techno Electric & Engineering Company, has unveiled a new Edge Data Center in Mahalaxmi, South Mumbai.

This center, developed in collaboration with RailTel Corporation of India, comes with a substantial investment of Rs 25 crore. It marks Techno Digital's second facility in India following their Gurugram site. The center is specifically designed to support crucial financial, media, and operational workloads in Mumbai.

Facing overwhelming interest from both public and private sectors, particularly within Mumbai's BFSI ecosystem, Techno Digital plans to expand further. The company is targeting 250 MW of combined hyperscale and edge infrastructure capacity by 2030, part of a wider USD 1 billion strategic initiative.
