Delhi Bar Associations Strike for Judicial Justice

The Coordination Committee of All District Court Bar Associations in Delhi has announced a strike on Thursday. This action arises from claims that their essential demands have been repeatedly ignored by the Delhi High Court and its committees.

A circular from the committee dated May 11 detailed the unanimous decision, expressing concern over the unilateral decision-making process by the Delhi High Court concerning issues like infrastructure development, pecuniary jurisdiction enhancement, and policy formulation.

Such decisions influence the public, legal practitioners, and the justice administration. The strike represents the bar associations' protest against being marginalized in judicial system decisions, urging all members to join in unity to defend the legal community's rights.
