In a brazen attack that unfolded in central Mumbai's Byculla, Sameer Shaikh, the 38-year-old son of notorious gangster Asif Dadi, was shot at by an unidentified gunman on Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 6.15 pm near Dockyard Road, with the attacker firing a round at Shaikh, resulting in a leg injury. After the attack, the gunman promptly fled the scene.

Shaikh is currently out of danger and receiving medical treatment. Authorities are exploring potential underworld links to the crime and are scrutinizing CCTV footage for leads.
