A 25-year-old widow has come forward with allegations of being coerced into prostitution under false pretenses of employment at a spa in Bhadohi. The woman, hailing from Azamgarh, claims she was subjected to threats and violence upon refusing to comply.
According to her complaint, Sujit Kumar Yadav, the spa owner, had assured her a job opportunity at his establishment. However, once employed, she was pressured to engage in illicit activities akin to those of other workers at the spa. Her refusal, she alleges, led to verbal abuse, physical assault, and threats to her life.
Lodging a complaint at Kotwali police station, the woman prompted authorities to register a case against Yadav under sections of criminal intimidation, insult, and voluntarily causing hurt. Police confirm ongoing investigations as they delve deeper into the accusations.
