Justice Demanded: High-Level Probe into Prison Injustice

BJP leader Babulal Marandi has urged Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to initiate a high-level probe and enforce strict action following allegations of sexual exploitation of a female inmate at Birsa Munda Central Jail.

Marandi, the leader of the opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, claimed that the inmate was subjected to mental and physical abuse, leaving her pregnant. The inspector general of prisons allegedly played a role in covering up the case, further questioning the administration's involvement.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, Marandi emphasizes the need for immediate punitive action against responsible officials and seeks to uncover and preserve evidence pertinent to the case.
