Tragic End Amidst Dowry Harassment Claims

A young bride's life came to a tragic end as a 25-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide in northeast Delhi, police reported on Tuesday. Her family accuses her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment.

The incident, which occurred on Monday, saw the woman hospitalized but pronounced dead on arrival. A preliminary inquiry indicates she married just three months ago.

Accusations have surfaced that her husband's family started demanding cash and gold shortly after the wedding, causing her severe mental stress, which is believed to have led to the unfortunate event. The police stated that legal actions are in progress, with further investigations ongoing.
