Jammu and Kashmir LG Orders Intensified Measures Against Drug-Linked Terrorism
Jammu and Kashmir's administration is ramping up efforts to combat narco-terror activities as directed by LG Sinha, who has called for additional resources and public deterrence strategies.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration, under the direction of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, is set to escalate its efforts against the narco-terrorism network in the region. During a high-level meeting, Sinha instructed officials to deploy additional resources to the Anti-Narcotics Task Force.
The LG also emphasized enhancing rehabilitation services for drug abuse victims, directing an increase in de-addiction centers run by police and health departments. Moreover, Sinha highlighted the need to monitor areas prone to drug activity and encouraged public transparency about major drug offenders to deter criminal activity and raise awareness.
The LG has also tasked educational departments with creating sports and youth-oriented programs to guide young individuals away from drug involvement.
