Suspicious Deaths of Two Senior Women in Delhi Suburb Unfold

In a mystery currently unraveling in central Delhi's New Rajinder Nagar, the lifeless bodies of two elderly women were found in their home recently. Officials have yet to discover signs of forced entry, leading to speculation that health complications could be the underlying cause of their deaths.

The women, identified as Saroj Bala and her sister-in-law Chandra Kanta, had been residing together for several years as per the police reports. A domestic worker notified police of a foul smell emanating from the house early on Thursday, raising concerns after she last attended to the women two days prior.

The police were alerted after the domestic help detected the odor around 10:30 am. According to Joint Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma, the house showed no evidence of forced entry, struggle, or robbery. Investigative efforts are currently directed at determining if the two women faced any health issues leading to their untimely demise.

The bodies have been removed for postmortem examination, and their family members, who reside in west Delhi, have been contacted. Authorities are collecting witness accounts from neighbors to piece together events leading up to the women's deaths. Presently, law enforcement is exploring multiple angles, including accidental death or illness-related factors.
