RSS Leader Affirms Democratic Inclusivity Amid Emergence of New Political Group

A senior leader from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh expressed confidence on Friday regarding India's enduring democratic spirit. In response to the rise of the Cockroach Janta Party, the leader emphasized that the country's democracy is robust enough to embrace diverse perspectives and opinions.

Highlighting the role of transparent elections and an open media environment, Sunil Ambekar, the organization's Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh, reassured that discussions, even those viewed as unconventional, should be welcome in a thriving democracy. He further noted that India's Gen Z is both hopeful and participatory within this framework.

Addressing another query, Ambekar mentioned an interview with RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, underscoring the significance of dialogue between people, particularly in relation to India-Pakistan ties. Despite challenging diplomatic pathways, maintaining trade and interpersonal communications can foster gradual resolutions, he said.

Reflecting on history, Ambekar reiterated the RSS's historical stance against the partition of India, noting the organization's aspirations to have been a stronger force against it.
