Delhi Court to Charge Sukesh Chandrashekar Under MCOCA
A Delhi court has decided to charge Sukesh Chandrashekar and others under multiple legal provisions, including the stringent MCOCA, as part of a special cell investigation into alleged organised crime and extortion activities.

In a significant legal development, a court in Delhi has announced its decision to frame charges against Sukesh Chandrashekar and others for various offenses, including those under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). The case was initiated by the city's special cell.
According to Additional Sessions Judge Prashant Sharma, the evidence at hand indicates that the accused, including Chandrashekar, appeared to have committed several crimes. These alleged offenses comprise impersonation, extortion, cheating, and criminal conspiracy, complicated by sections of the IT Act.
Charges are also to be framed against Chandrashekar's wife, Leena Paulose, along with 17 others, for their purported involvement in the crime syndicate. Meanwhile, three individuals face accusations of criminal conspiracy and cheating. The Economic Offences Wing conducted the investigation.
