Man Fatally Stabbed in Banda After Mobile Theft Dispute

In Banda, Uttar Pradesh, a 40-year-old man lost his life following an altercation linked to a mobile phone theft. According to local police, the incident involved several individuals near a popular bathing spot in the Chitrakoot district.
Authorities detailed that the conflict erupted as Ravi, Guru, and Rinku Nishad confronted Vijay Nishad, suspecting him of phone theft. Tensions heightened when Vijay's father, Bitti Nishad, attempted to defuse the situation, only to be fatally stabbed.
Upon receiving reports, police promptly arrived on the scene, but Bitti succumbed to his neck injuries en route to the hospital. A post-mortem is underway, and police teams are actively pursuing the accused to bring them to justice.
