A tragic building collapse near the Saket Metro station in South Delhi has resulted in the deaths of four individuals. The three-storey commercial structure, which contained a coaching institute, cafes, and offices, collapsed late on Saturday evening in the Saidulajab area.
Rescue teams, including the NDRF, DFS, DDMA, along with Delhi Police and local volunteers, worked through the night employing advanced equipment to save those trapped. Debris from the collapse also impacted a nearby tin shed canteen used by medical aspirants. An ongoing investigation seeks to determine the collapse's cause, as construction was underway on the upper floor.
