The confrontation was triggered by Indian precision strikes under 'Operation Sindoor,' targeting terror infrastructure following an attack on April 22.
Pakistan's military responded to the Indian offensive with their own 'Operation Bunyanum Marsoos,' claiming retributive strikes. In the aftermath, both countries have agreed to a ceasefire to halt the conflict, which saw numerous casualties and damage to military assets.
