Tej Pratap Yadav, a former Bihar minister and son of founding RJD president Lalu Prasad, has successfully cleared the initial stage interview for pilot training towards a commercial pilot license.
According to the Directorate of Aviation's list, Yadav ranked fifth among 18 successful candidates in the interview held in December 2024.
His expulsion from the RJD, following personal controversies, adds complexity to the family's political landscape as he prepares for a new career path.
