New OPM Chief Denies Ties to Musk in Trump Administration Shuffle
Scott Kupor, the new head of the Office of Personnel Management, has emphasized his lack of personal ties with Elon Musk and pledged to execute President Trump's agenda. Kupor's appointment follows Musk's departure amid tensions with Trump. Kupor seeks to clarify policy direction and improve coordination within the administration.

Scott Kupor, recently appointed as the head of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), made it clear on Monday that he has no personal connections with Elon Musk, despite Musk's significant influence during President Donald Trump's election campaign.
Addressing reporters, Kupor emphasized his commitment to following Trump's directives, distancing himself from Musk's vision. This move is seen as an effort to stabilize OPM's leadership after Musk's dramatic exit from his government roles earlier this year.
Previously a partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Kupor faces the challenge of overcoming the rift created by Musk's initiatives and aligning agency objectives more closely with the White House's policies.
