In a robust demonstration against the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls in Bihar, members of the INDIA bloc parties made their voices heard in the Parliament House complex on Tuesday.
Representatives from Congress, DMK, TMC, RJD, and Left parties united in protest, raising slogans and wielding placards decrying alleged voter disenfranchisement. The repeated calls for a rollback were echoed on the steps of the Makar Dwar of Parliament.
The opposition's stand reflects their contention of unfair electoral practices, demanding immediate discussions within both Houses to address the implications of the EC's actions before the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
