For the first time since the Monsoon session began on July 21, the Lok Sabha witnessed a smooth Question Hour on Tuesday. Previously, the proceedings were marred by disruptions as the Opposition pushed for debates on topics such as the electoral roll revision in Bihar and Operation Sindoor.
The debate on Operation Sindoor began on Monday, but the Opposition caused further delays by insisting on a government assurance for a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision exercise in Bihar. Tuesday marked a rare moment of calm, allowing the Question Hour to proceed uninterrupted.
Speaker Om Birla has continually urged members to engage in the Question Hour, emphasizing its significance for addressing issues related to key ministries and holding the government accountable.
