Union Home Minister Amit Shah has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra,' accusing the opposition of using the rally to shield infiltrators for electoral gains. Shah elaborated on these accusations while addressing a gathering at Thyagaraj Stadium.
The rally coincided with the inauguration of 17 welfare schemes by the Delhi government, marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah praised Modi for his leadership in securing the nation's borders through strategic strikes and alleviating poverty by providing basic amenities to millions.
Congress and several opposition factions have opposed the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar, arguing it undermines voting rights. Nonetheless, Shah underscored BJP's endorsement of the revision process as a means to ensure electoral integrity.
