Latur's Guardian Minister Shivendra Raje Bhosale pledged government support to farmers reeling from heavy rains. His announcement coincided with Marathwada Liberation Day celebrations, marking the region's historic integration with India.
Bhosale assured expedited compensation for crop damages and announced initiatives like the 'Service Fortnight' from September 17 to October 2, in collaboration with the Revenue and Forest departments.
The minister also unveiled the 'Namo Netra Sanjeevani Health Campaign', offering free eye care services, and released a commemorative book featuring photographs from the Marathwada Liberation struggle.
