Quota activist Manoj Jarange issued a stern warning to Maharashtra politicians Pankaja and Dhananjay Munde, asserting that their political careers could be jeopardized if they interfere with Maratha reservation demands. The activist's remarks came in response to Pankaja Munde's statement advocating against Marathas receiving quotas at the expense of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

Jarange cautioned the politicians to avoid following the lead of Chhagan Bhujbal, a key OBC leader, indicating that such actions might be detrimental to their political futures. The issue stems from a government resolution issued by the Devendra Fadnavis administration, which grants Marathas eligibility for Kunbi caste certificates, allowing them to claim OBC category quotas in education and jobs.

The resolution has sparked unrest among OBC community leaders who oppose the potential inclusion of Marathas in their category. Despite ongoing tensions, Jarange urged his community to persistently fight for their rights and vowed to counter any attempts to derail their long-standing demands for reservation benefits.
