Udhayanidhi Stalin, Leader of Opposition, accused the TVK government of maintaining power with 'borrowed' allies and by fracturing the AIADMK. The floor test saw support for Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay from unexpected quarters, including former state ministers S P Velumani and C Ve Shanmugam.
