The cancellation of the NEET-UG examination, initially held on May 3, has become a flashpoint of political tension in Bihar. NDA leaders accuse opposition parties of using the situation to mislead students. The CBI is now tasked with investigating the alleged paper leak after an FIR was registered.
Umesh Singh Kushwaha, president of JD(U) Bihar unit, asserted that punitive actions are already in motion against those implicated in the leak. Emphasizing accountability, Kushwaha said, 'No one will be spared.' The NDA contends that the opposition is politicizing the issue to sway public opinion.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for austerity in response to global supply disruptions has also stirred political discourse. Some BJP leaders defend the measures, as others critique them as ineffective. The debate continues while Bihar and other state governments implement conservation initiatives.
