UDF's Triumphant Return: New Cabinet Sworn In Kerala

The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) has officially assumed power in Kerala, with senior leaders Ramesh Chennithala, Sunny Joseph, and K Muraleedharan taking oath as ministers. This political shift comes as VD Satheesan, chosen over Chennithala for Chief Minister, forms a new government following the UDF's victory in the 2026 Assembly elections.

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar oversaw the swearing-in ceremony at Thiruvananthapuram's Central Stadium, attended by prominent political figures like Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
