Meng Xiangqing is slated to lead the Chinese delegation at the event, as revealed by ministry spokesperson Jiang Bin during a Thursday press conference. This marks the second year that Chinese Defence Minister Dong Jun will not attend the summit.
The Shangri-La Dialogue serves as a key platform for discussions on pressing security issues across the Asia-Pacific region, drawing high-profile participants from various countries.
