Identity Documents Discovered at Kolkata TMC Office

In a surprising discovery, a large cache of voter IDs, Aadhaar, and ration cards were uncovered at a TMC office in Kolkata's Tangra neighborhood. The discovery was made on Thursday, raising eyebrows and concerns over potential electoral malpractice.

According to sources, nearly 300 identity documents were found concealed within an almirah at the party's Tangra Second Lane office in ward 57. Allegations have emerged from BJP supporters claiming these documents were intentionally stashed to hinder voters from casting their ballots. A local, Soumen Vicky Das, asserted that his Aadhaar card had vanished before the elections and he located it among the recovered items.

Reports from the community suggest that the office had been deserted since the election results. No formal complaints have been filed yet, but police are conducting an investigation into the incident. The TMC has yet to issue a response concerning these serious allegations.
