Shiv Sena (UBT) Selects Vivek Navandar for Parbhani-Hingoli Council Election
Shiv Sena (UBT) has nominated Vivek Navandar for the Parbhani-Hingoli local bodies constituency in the upcoming council elections. The election is on June 18, with nomination submissions closing on June 1. Shiv Sena (UBT) will contest six of the 17 seats as part of an alliance strategy.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) has formally announced Vivek Navandar as its candidate for the upcoming council elections in the Parbhani-Hingoli local bodies constituency. This decision was shared by party leader Ambadas Danve on social media, indicating Uddhav Thackeray's strategic choice to field Navandar, who leads the party's efforts in Parbhani city.
The Parbhani municipal corporation stands out as the only one with a Shiv Sena (UBT) mayor. These elections, taking place on June 18, will fill 16 seats from local self-governing bodies, alongside a bypoll in Nagpur. Key deadlines include June 1 for nominations, June 2 for scrutiny, and June 4 for withdrawal. Results will be declared on June 22.
Among the constituencies holding elections are Solapur, Ahmednagar, and others. Under the MVA alliance, Congress will compete for eight seats, while Shiv Sena (UBT) aims for six, covering areas like Raigad, Jalgaon, and Parbhani-Hingoli, with NCP (SP) contesting three seats. Local governing body members will vote, following the expiration of current MLCs' terms.
