Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, revealed in an interview with Politico that Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons has been significantly impeded after recent U.S. military actions targeting Iran's main nuclear facilities.

Speaking on Wednesday, Rubio asserted that Iran is now considerably further from developing a nuclear weapon due to the strategic strikes executed over the weekend.

He described the damage inflicted on various components of Iran's nuclear infrastructure as 'significant, very significant, substantial,' indicating that the U.S. is still uncovering the full extent of the impact.
