During a five-day visit to Singapore, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu engaged in high-level talks with Singapore's housing and urban redevelopment officials and representatives from the World Bank. His agenda centered around forging collaborations to enhance urban housing projects in the emerging city of Amaravati.
On the second day of his visit, Naidu convened with senior figures from the Housing Development Board (HDB), Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore Corporation Enterprise, and the World Bank. The discussions zeroed in on potential collaborations aimed at advancing Andhra Pradesh's urban housing vision, notably within Amaravati.
By extending an invitation to the HDB to join as a development partner, Naidu showcased Andhra Pradesh's urban roadmap and strategic objectives. His tour of the Bidadari Housing Project highlighted his admiration for its innovative blend of nature, heritage, and community, serving as an aspirational model for his state's urban future.
