Himachal Pradesh faces severe challenges as heavy rainfall continues to batter the region, with 566 roads, including major highways, halted, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
Kangana Ranaut, the BJP representative for Mandi, surveyed disaster-hit zones in Kullu, discussing damages with officials and residents who are concerned about impending landslides due to river erosion in Solang.
The monsoon havoc has led to 46 cloudbursts and 98 flash floods, among other calamities, resulting in numerous fatalities and extensive infrastructure damage across the state, per SEOC reports.
