A massive inferno erupted in a shoes and garments warehouse located in the Binola Industrial Area, leading to the destruction of goods worth lakhs. The fire, which broke out on Thursday morning, was finally subdued after relentless efforts by more than a dozen firefighting units.

Fire Officer Lalit Kumar, leading the team from the Manesar fire station, received the call at around 8:40 am. The blaze escalated rapidly, necessitating aid from additional fire stations including those in Gurugram, Manesar, and Pataudi.

Senior Fire Officer Narender Kumar noted that the likely cause of the fire was an electrical fault. As nearby factories were alerted and traffic was rerouted, investigations continue to confirm the source of the fire.
