After a commanding victory against the Lucknow Super Giants at home, the Punjab Kings are preparing for their next Indian Premier League 2025 match against the Delhi Capitals. Spin-bowling coach Sunil Joshi, during a pre-match press conference, shared insights into their recent performance, weather impacts, and the uncertainty of upcoming games.

Joshi expressed satisfaction over the team's performance in the last match and credited their pre-tournament training in familiar conditions for the success. "Our preparation helped us adapt to the conditions, and the results reflected our efforts," Joshi stated, as per a release by PBKS.

Discussing their rain-affected game against Kolkata Knight Riders, Joshi acknowledged the unpredictability of weather while stressing the importance of focusing on forthcoming games. He praised veteran leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for his consistency and clarity, attributing his success to his mental acuity gained from chess.

Addressing concerns over potential national security issues impacting their next game, Joshi reassured that the team is following the BCCI's guidelines and emphasized that the team would adhere to any directives issued. Punjab Kings are set to play against Delhi Capitals at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Thursday, May 8.
