Zimbabwe and Namibia have clinched the remaining two spots in the T20 World Cup 2026 from the African Qualifiers. On Thursday, Zimbabwe decisively overcame Kenya in the semi-final with a seven-wicket victory, after Kenya won the toss and opted to bat first.

Rakep Patel's spirited 65 off 47 for Kenya wasn't enough as Zimbabwe's bowlers took control. Chasing 123, Zimbabwe's Brian Bennett drove the effort with a swift 51 off 25 balls, including six fours, ensuring their place in the World Cup to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Namibia comfortably secured a win against Tanzania with a 63-run advantage, making it the first team to qualify for the tournament. This marks Namibia's fourth appearance in the T20 World Cup, having played in 2021, 2022, and 2024. With 17 teams qualified, the tournament lineup is near complete.
