New Zealand's accomplished cricketer Suzie Bates is on the brink of a significant milestone, poised to become the first woman to play 350 international cricket matches. This historic event is set for Monday when New Zealand faces South Africa at Indore in a gripping encounter.

Since her 2006 debut against India, Bates has amassed an impressive 5,896 runs in women's ODIs, alongside 172 matches and 165 innings with a batting average of 39.57. She trails only one other player with 13 centuries and holds the fifth position in the batting echelons of Women's World Cup history.

Bates' prowess extends to T20Is, where she has become the top run-getter, achieving a historic feat as part of New Zealand's T20 World Cup victory last year. With 4,716 runs in 174 innings, her influential career is matched by Sophie Devine, also reaching personal achievements.
