Turkey's Istanbul Park circuit, a fan favorite, is set to return to the Formula One calendar from 2027. The Turkish presidency confirmed the circuit's inclusion for at least five years.
Located on Istanbul's Asian side, the circuit is known for its challenging layout that drivers and fans admire. It last featured in 2021 as a replacement during the COVID-19 pandemic and has previously hosted races from 2005 to 2011, and in 2020.
The 2020 season at Istanbul Park was notable for Lewis Hamilton clinching his seventh world title, tying Michael Schumacher's record. The circuit is expected to bring significant excitement back to the F1 schedule.
