Goa is set to revolutionize its hospitality sector by launching an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence in partnership with Canada's Pacific Link College, according to a government official.

This initiative, part of the state's AI Mission 2027, aims to significantly improve the hospitality experience by enhancing tourist satisfaction, optimizing operational processes, and creating job opportunities for local youth.

The Canadian delegation, during a recent meeting with Goa's IT and Communications Minister Rohan Khaunte, outlined their detailed proposal. The project will equip local youth with AI skills, foster collaboration with startups, and establish Goa as a leader in AI-driven tourism.
