Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has made a compelling call to entrepreneurs and investors from Singapore, inviting them to partake in India's ongoing development efforts. Speaking at the ''Andhra Pradesh – Singapore Business Forum and Partnership Summit Roadshow,'' Naidu detailed plans for wide-ranging infrastructure projects in his state.
The chief minister emphasized a plethora of opportunities, highlighting developments in ports, airports, and the creation of Quantum Valley in Amravati. Andhra Pradesh aims to contribute 160 GW to India's green energy targets by 2030. Additionally, Visakhapatnam will soon welcome an Arcelor Mittal steel plant and a Google operation centre, signaling robust industrial growth.
Encouraging investment, Naidu invited contributions to deep tech, electronics, green hydrogen, logistics, ports, and more. Omar Shazad of Meinhardt praised the initiatives, noting substantial opportunities for Singaporean businesses. Amaravati, a futuristic city, epitomizes Naidu's vision, reflecting Singapore's urban development advantages.
