Omaxe Ltd Faces Financial Struggles Amid Expansion Moves

Real estate company Omaxe Ltd has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 185.77 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, reflecting a greater financial struggle than its Rs 146.98 crore loss in the same quarter last year.
The firm's total income during the April-June period of the 2025-26 fiscal year fell to Rs 298.03 crore, compared to Rs 385.23 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing released last week.
Omaxe Ltd, a prominent player in India's real estate market with developments in 30 cities across eight states, recently purchased 450 acres in Indore for a township project estimated at Rs 1,200 crore and raised Rs 500 crore from Oaktree Capital Management for future developments.
