Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized the importance of a focused approach to economic growth and self-reliance at the 12th Annual Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI) event on Thursday. Addressing the challenges posed by rapid global changes, Vaishnaw reiterated the necessity of resilience in navigating potential economic storms.

Citing successes like the establishment of 100 5G labs and partnerships with universities using cutting-edge tools, Vaishnaw showcased India's commitment to talent development and self-reliance under the 'atmanirbharta' initiative.

With an eye on future reforms, Vaishnaw encouraged feedback on existing laws, urging collaboration with the Finance Ministry for tax reform simplification. He invited young professionals to reassess the relevance of post-1947 laws, underscoring the government's openness to public input for shaping next-generation reforms across multiple sectors.
