Air India Express Flight Makes Emergency Landing Due to Bird Strike
An Air India Express flight from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad was forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine problem, suspected to be caused by a bird strike. The flight safely returned to Visakhapatnam shortly after departing, and passengers were safely deboarded.

An Air India Express flight bound for Hyderabad was compelled to make an emergency landing at its departure point, Visakhapatnam, after an engine issue likely caused by a bird strike, authorities reported.
Airport director S Raja Reddy confirmed that flight number IX 2658 had departed Vizag at 2.38 pm and, facing difficulties, returned by 3 pm, covering only 10 nautical miles.
The flight landed safely, and passengers were deboarded without incident, with the airline arranging alternative travel for them, Reddy informed PTI.
