Air India is making significant operational changes at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. The carrier announced plans to relocate 60 domestic flights to Terminal 2 (T2), while Air India Express will shift its domestic services entirely to Terminal 1 (T1) starting October 26.
The airline's decision was influenced by the need to enhance international passenger capacity, which has concurrently reduced domestic capacity at Terminal 3 (T3). Despite these adjustments, all international flights of both Air India and Air India Express will continue to operate from T3.
Renovations at the airport, managed by DIAL, are anticipated to improve overall passenger flow. Affected passengers are advised to verify their flight details and stay informed through reminders as their booking terminals might change.
